P2P, Peer to Peer Lending
PEER-TO-PEER innovator Giles Andrews, has forayed even further into the alternative finance market by taking on a second non-executive role at MarketInvoice.
Andrews, who made his name as the CEO of the world’s first P2P lender, Zopa, is now hoping to continue his successes with the invoice finance platform.
Having just passed £1bn in invoice finances, MarketInvoice hopes that Andrews’ experience will help them scale in an upcoming growth phase.
Both Zopa, and MarketInvoice have been instrumental in the founding of the Peer-to-Peer Finance Association, the industry’s trade body. And now, MarketInvoice is reported to be looking at doubling its lending in 2017, something that Giles has been brought in to help accomplish.
Anil Stocker, MarketInvoice CEO, said: "MarketInvoice is committed to evolving its proposition in delivering smarter, faster finance to businesses and consistent returns for investors.
“This appointment is yet a further signal of our intent to shaking-up and challenging the mainstream market,"
